Mark founded Proximity Marketing in 1994 after recognizing an opportunity to use newly-developed targeted marketing technology.

In his role as president, Mark helps clients understand the opportunities that digital marketing represents for their business growth. He and his firm have been recognized for both growth (2x winner of the Weatherhead 100 Award for fastest growing businesses) and innovation (SME – Sales and Marketing Executive’s DSMA Award ((Distinguished Sales and Marketing Award)).

He loves coming to work every day and generating new business activity for our clients. Mark is a civic-minded leader, engaging in a variety of local and business organizations, including being on the boards of the Northern Medina County Chamber Alliance, The United Way of Medina County and Holy Name High School. He is also active in Medina County Economic Development Corporation and the Made in Medina County initiative.

In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family – especially on Kelleys Island.

Alison has worked with the Proximity team since 1996. She has a BA in Education from John Carroll University, with minors in Mathematics and English.

Officially serving as Proximity Marketing’s accounting and Human Resources manager, Alison’s role extends far beyond that. Over the years, Alison has worked in nearly every role in the office, so she steps in to assist whenever a team member needs an extra hand. She has a comprehensive understanding of all our clients, and her involvement ensures the best results for our customers.

When Alison is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially on Kelleys Island in the summer. The Priebes enjoy traveling, especially their trips to Costa Rica and to the London Olympics in 2012. Alison is an accomplished author, with three children’s books published.

Beth has spent her entire career in marketing and advertising. Starting with Proximity Marketing in 2003, she has developed strong relationships with our clients – always advocating their business goals through the strategies she puts in place.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and put that education to use in her professional career, serving as both a project manager and a strategist while at Proximity.

Beth spends much of her time planning and brainstorming on behalf of our clients. She uncovers the real value our customers have to offer, including realizing their challenges and unearthing what success looks like. Beth enjoys seeing projects go live and sharing that forward momentum with our clients.

Outside of work, Beth “moms” in her free time. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, even when it includes being a chauffeur, fast food chef and the finder-of-all-things-lost.

Rebecca is the newest member of the Proximity team, but an appreciated one. As senior account manager, Rebecca balances a lot, including task managing our team’s schedules and creating open dialogue for all client outreach.

When she started at Proximity, Rebecca brought an ample amount of both marketing and project management expertise. She has 14 years of experience in the field, including nine years in the B2B sector.

The senior account manager role tasks her with being hyper-organized, and Rebecca delivers in spades. She works diligently to create systems and processes to improve efficiencies within the company to benefit our clients.

Her favorite part of her job is digging in deep and learning about our clients’ businesses: their successes, challenges and goals.

In her free time, Rebecca enjoys her children’s numerous school activities, playing with her two Siberian Huskies and watching NCAA football with her husband.

With 30 years of print and digital communications experience, Mike shapes online marketing strategies for small, mid-size and Fortune 500 companies. Since 1997, Mike has specialized in SEO and content development for B2B and B2C businesses. A former journalist (1987-1997), he earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism at Kent State University in 1986.

Mike oversees SEO projects for our clients in a wide range of industries. He develops plans that focus on the right mix of relevant keyword phrases, content and technical updates to drive more leads and sales.

He enjoys working with clients to help them find the best ways to showcase their expertise and connect with people searching for their products and services.

Over the years, Mike has authored numerous studies, guides and articles about SEO. He speaks at regional workshops and national conferences, including the American Marketing Association, Content Marketing World and Search Engine Strategies in Cleveland, New York City, Chicago and San Jose.

He loves spending time with family, traveling and volunteering, including interacting with residents in a hospice facility, mentoring teens, and serving in church ministries that focus on the poor and disadvantaged. Mike also enjoys movies, biking and running, including three half marathons and seven marathons – so far.

James has been coordinating clients’ needs in an efficient manner since he started in December 2015. Clients often comment on his prompt response and his ability to get the job done quickly.

He enjoys working one-on-one with our customers and establishing meaningful business relationship with each of them. James understands the need to report data back to clients.

James graduated from the nationally-ranked business school at Bowling Green State University with a specialization in Marketing in 2006. Additionally, he has been Google certified since 2015.

James has vast experience with both the B2B world – previously working in the transportation/manufacturing industries – and in all things marketing, including digital efforts like SEO and PPC strategies, as well as traditional print and direct mail initiatives.

In his free time, James enjoys attending Trivia competitions, watching Cleveland sports and testing out new restaurant and breweries, including critiquing their potatoes.

Danielle begins each work day with the primary goal of helping clients achieve digital marketing success and comes fully equipped with an endless supply of caffeinated beverages.

She graduated from Baldwin-Wallace in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with minors in Marketing and Public Relations. She has been in the digital marketing field since 2011 in both agency and internal marketing positions.

Danielle specializes in paid search and SEO, but also regularly assists with social media development and content creation for many client accounts. With a background in both B2B and B2C settings, she understands the diverse list of strategies that all businesses must balance to succeed in the digital space.

When not at work, Danielle can be found relinquishing her remaining energy reserves to care for, and enjoy time with her daughter, Grace, and their rat terrier, Olly.

Ashlee Brolly recently joined the Proximity Marketing team as lead Graphic Designer & Web Developer, taking charge on new and ongoing client web programs. Her main responsibilities include website development, including experience analysis, and designing digital campaign elements.

She graduated from The University of Akron in 2010 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design. She has also completed a Full Stack Web Development program at Case Western Reserve University. Ashlee has been designing and developing for print and web since she graduated, working in-house at several large corporations, at agencies, and as a freelancer.

Ashlee specializes in designing and developing WordPress websites, and leads all of Proximity’s print and digital design efforts. Her focus is creating sites that not only look good but offer visitors the best user experience possible.

An eternal student, Ashlee uses every new opportunity to continue studying the latest design and technology trends. Outside the office, Ashlee enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 dogs and cat.

Douglas has been writing content since he started at Proximity in 2017. He loves to interact with our clients, learning about their unique business offerings and then conveying them through the written word in blogs, social posts, white papers, articles, and website content.

In his role as a writer, Douglas helps clients understand their ability to be an authority in their industries and how the power of content can help them achieve their marketing goals.

Douglas graduated from The Ohio State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and minors in marketing and media production. He began his career as a reporter, before transitioning into various digital marketing roles in both the B2B and B2C segments.

Douglas likes golf, movies, listening to true crime podcasts, and spends too much time thinking about Cleveland sports and the Buckeyes. He also loves spending time with his wife, family and vacationing anywhere except the state up north.
