Q: How should I send the data files to Proximity Marketing?
A: Data can be sent in various forms. Preferred format is ASCII Text, Excel .
Q: Can you send back the data in a preferred format to comply with restrictions at my organization?
A: Yes. Please send preferred data format instructions at project start.
Q: Can I include graphics within my campaign?
A: Yes. Branding elements are highly encouraged. Please send .gif or .jpg files less than 40K in file size to your account manager.
Q: I'd like to create my own HTML design. What restrictions should I keep in mind?
A: Normal HTML layout development scale is 550-600 pixels maximum width, 96 pixels deep (ppi).
Q: Can my message be personalized to include the recipient's name?
A: Yes. Any information housed in your data can be merged into the campaign. For example, you can include name, phone, fax and company.
Q: I am constructing a fax layout. What should I consider?
A: When developing the copy and layout for fax presentations, remember to consider the delivery medium. Copy font should be clean and uncomplicated. The copy font size should be easily readable. We do not recommend font sizes smaller than 12 point . Images can be an effective addition to your fax campaign. Images should be clean and uncomplicated. (avoid using screened images and photos). Images should be saved in a format with a resolution of at least 300 dpi .
Q: Is there anything I can do to help improve the delivery rate of my fax campaigns?
A: Yes. There are a variety of things you can do, but we'll briefly mention a few. First, make sure you are using a provider that is cleansing your list before delivery. Cleansing should include area code updating and list deduping and removal. Make sure the faxes are personalized to the recipient so they are accepted or passed to the correct receiving individual. The fax layout should minimize the use of unnecessary lines which commonly slow the transmission times.
